Can we stop with the generational player nonsense?

Hello all,



I mean, who are the alleged generational players that have been drafted recently? McDavid and Eichel? When I think of generational talents I think of players that are so beyond their peers that to compare them is ridiculous. Neither McDavid nor Eichel appear to be in that category.



Just a random thought. I'm personally looking forward to the next Gretzky/Lemieux. Will we ever see that again?
